Dragons Adventure December 17, 2008 I love this book it is so awesome! I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Dragon's are so unique in their own way, they enspire me that every one is special. You should deffinetly read this, Try it!
Love this series October 24, 2008 I bought this book to replace one I loaned out and never got back. I've read the story many times and loved it every time.
Great Series September 26, 2008 This is a great series for all age groups. All four of my children have read them. They range for ages 8-16 and they all loved them as well as me. LOL.
The Fire Within September 6, 2008 As the first book it was ok at the beginning, but the last chapters were amazing! I loved this book and would tell anyone that this book is a must to read!
Expected quite a lot more July 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As a person who enjoys fantasy and fiction as much as anyone, I was intrigued by this book naturally and after reading the back cover, was convinced that it would be a smashing good read perfect for anyone who has an inkling towards the unreal. Unfortunately, I was horribly disappointed, for most of the book centered around a squirrel with one eye who, in my opinion, had a bit of a bad temper. Even more drab, was the fact that the main character was an unimaginative writer, who is trying to land a book deal. When all of a sudden he realizes that there are real live dragons in the house, what does he do? He writes a book about the dumb squirrel. The only reason that he even writes it is because his landlord has a whiny (and also quite annoying) daughter who does not talk about anything in the entire book, except the squirrel. Desperately, I hung onto the last threads of plot line in the book, assuring myself that it would turn out to have a good conclusion, and a wonderful series of satisfying twists that would make the main character see that there were better things to write about than squirrels. Like I said before, I was disappointed. There was no conclusion. Just an end to the boring. I gave this two stars instead of one, because there is mention of pottery within it, and the author incorporates that aspect quite cleverly within the story. But that's just about the only good thing that i can say about this book. An immature book from an immature author.
